What is the cost of a ride?
To encourage use, RideOn will charge a flat fee of $10 for service within its area of operation. Additional passengers will not raise the price
What is the area of operation?
Initially, RideOn will pick up patrons only in Southeast Portland.
Click here for a pick up area map. You may be dropped off anywhere in the Portland metro area, but again, pick-ups must be in the designated southeast area. RideOn will expand to cover the rest of Portland and the suburbs as funding permits.

How does insurance work?
RideOn is insured through ANI, the Alliance of Non-Profits for Insurance. Additionally, every RideOn driver has individual auto insurance. This combination provides the most comprehensive insurance policy for both the customer and the organization.
Does my car need to be insured?
Yes, under Oregon law, every automobile on the road needs to be insured.
How long will it take for a driver to show up after I call?
RideOn strives to be both punctual and reliable. Drivers arrive to most locations within 15 minutes, though bar-time may cause delays depending on ride volume. Inclement weather may also slow down our drivers. Their safety is of the utmost importance to us.
Why did you become a not-for-profit?
The non-profit model allows RideOn to offer its services to the most people at the lowest cost. This is essential for encouraging use. Additionally, as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, RideOn has the opportunity to form lasting ties with both the private and public sectors.
